QUIT LINE NUMBER
The packaging will either have the wrong quit line number, or none at all.

TAR & NICOTINE READING
Readings on the pack are generally higher than 12 mg Tar and / or 1,2 mg Nicotine on knock-off brand packaging.

SA DIAMOND STAMP
Look out for the Diamond Stamp on the box (generally located at the bottom of the pack). No stamp means the cigarettes are fake.

REDUCED IGNITION PROPENSITY MARKING
If the box is missing the mandatory “Reduced Ignition Propensity” marking, the cigarettes are fake.
